Why do we Beta test? We announced our much anticipated MaestroLIVE Beta test today...
We announced our much anticipated MaestroLIVE Beta test today and several of you (our existing customers) are lined up to take part in the Beta test. But why do we do this?
Beta testing is a really important part of most (if not every) software release. It’s the acid test, the moment where we release MaestroLIVE for regular users to have a go with.
We’ve put thousands of hours into developing MaestroLIVE and, even though it’s the next generation of Maestro which has been in operation over 10 years, there are always going to be improvements we could make or glitches to iron out.
And that’s where the Beta testers come in. We’ve already been testing MaestroLIVE continuously for several months in what we call Alpha testing. Beta testing is the next stage and simply cannot be done by in-house technicians.
Your feedback on how MaestroLIVE works for you is the final but arguably most important stage of MaestroLIVE’s development and what you alert us to both positive and negative will undoubtedly have an impact on how MaestroLIVE changes in the future to be the best system it can be.
This is why we Beta test so thank you Beta testers. If you would like to become a Beta tester you can do so by clicking on the ‘Free Trial’ link in the main navigation bar.
